Special Education Parent Town Hall - May 3rd

Parents are invited to join Superintendent Rick Schmitt and Assistant Superintendent, Education Services, Toni Taylor, on May 3, 2017 as they host two Special Education interactive Town Halls for parents. The district’s vision for Special Education will be shared and parents are invited to ask questions and share their thoughts and ideas.

As we look toward the future, we are placing increased attention on Special Education in the 2017-18 school year. This includes shifting the Special Education Department and the new, yet to be identified, Executive Director for Special Education, under our Educational Services Division. As part of our work, we will focus on creating structures and supports that encourage building relationships and trust among all of our stakeholders.

To learn more, please join us on May 3 at one of the following meetings:

9-10:30 am
SRVUSD Education Center Board Room
699 Old Orchard Drive, Danville

6-7:30 pm
Professional Development Center
Los Cerros Middle School
968 Blemer Road, Danville
