MON 12/18 - 7:00 - 8:30 PM - Professional Development Center - Los Cerros MS - No guest speaker. Discussion of hosting multicultural events, international festivals, and the like will be our primary focus as well as discussion of mother/son and father/daughter events with plenty of time to socialize and address any additional topics of interest, ideas for next several meetings, and Q&A regarding Words Matter Week and more!

What is Ed100?

Ed100 is a free, self-paced online course that prepares you to make a difference in your school or school district. California's education system is complex and changing fast. Whether you are a parent, a teacher, or a community member, Ed100 helps you learn what you need to know to be informed, credible and ready for action. Each lesson takes about 5 minutes, in English or in Spanish.

The California State Board of Education voted to approve instructional materials for grades K–8 that teach California’s groundbreaking History/Social-Science Curriculum Framework.

"California continues to lead the nation by teaching history-social science that is #inclusive and recognizes the #diversity of our great state and nation," said State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Torlakson.
